We can’t recommend Clair and her incredible cooking enough! She catered our rehearsal dinner in Rochester, NY, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. From the perfectly handmade tortillas that she stayed up all night preparing, to the flavorful chicken and jackfruit entrees, every dish was bursting with taste. The pico de gallo and elotes were absolute crowd-pleasers, leaving everyone craving more. Clair's attention to detail and passion for her craft truly shine through in every bite. Highly recommend – 10/10! You won’t be disappointed!

I recently hired Clair to make a dinner for a couple friends and myself. The experience was absolutely incredible! She was kind, attentive, and discussed with me ahead of time any dietary restrictions, allergies, and specific flavors I had in mind for the event. We decided on 5 total courses with a heavy play on vegetables. We were served incredible and unique flavors I have never had before! She used only the best ingredients and created dishes that I still think about on a daily basis. We had scallop crudo, asparagus 3 ways with caviar, a carrot ravioli, and my personal favorite duck with cabbage. For dessert she created an apple cake, and as someone who doesn’t usually like cake—this I went in for seconds and thirds. If you’re looking to hire someone who is super talented, listens to what you want, and will give you Michelin star cuisine look no further!

My bridesmaids hired SDD to cater a multi-day bachelorette party in a remote location. She was asked to deliver a menu that was cost-effective, for 2 full days (plus healthy snacks) that felt special and unique. Clair and the SDT team did an incredible job keeping us fed and happy throughout the entire experience. She went above and beyond to make sure our health goals were met (sweating for the wedding) while also making the food feel higher end than we expected. Highly recommend you ask about the “luxury hummus,” as well as the steamed mussels with chorizo! Clair made sure we didn’t have to worry about what we were eating and if our dietary restrictions would be met because she designed the whole menu for all meals to be inclusive of everyone’s needs. Highly recommend and will hire again!

I recently attended a “Test Table” event with the SDD team, where they test out new recipes and concepts on a willing group of “experimentees.” I was blown away by the creativity in some of the dishes. The SDT team is really great at transforming ingredients that deliver a whole experience, not just pretty bites that go in your mouth, and they come to the table with things you’ll have never had before, because they don’t exist in stores. You should attend a Test Table or seriously consider hiring them.

SDD catered my son’s 5th birthday. I know, thrilling. But the team pulled off catering that made it fun for the adults while still being kid-friendly and safe, all with an Elsa theme. They also made sure to work around the many restrictions we had.. nut allergies, lactose intolerance, a preference around not using seed oils. SDD handled our issues with no complaints and we loved the final product! We had about 15 total guests between bigs and littles, and everyone walked away satisfied and covered in cake. We’ve already hired SDD for our next birthday party!
